Visiting the website

The site is hosted on Cloudflare (Cloudflare, Inc., USA). When you open a page, Cloudflare processes your IP address, the requested page, date and time, and browser and device information to deliver the site and protect it against attacks. Technical logs are deleted after at most seven days. Legal basis: Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR, our legitimate interest in a secure and working website. Cloudflare acts as our processor under a data processing agreement.

No cookies, no tracking

We do not use cookies, analytics or advertising trackers. Your browser stores your chosen currency and your shortlist locally (local storage) so the site remembers them. This is only done because you use these functions (section 25 (2) no. 2 TDDDG), and you can delete it at any time in your browser settings. The names on your shortlist are only sent to us if you submit an inquiry.

Contact form

When you send an inquiry, we process the names you selected, your offers, your name, email address, company (optional) and message, plus your browser type and the country derived from your IP address to detect abuse. We store the inquiry in a database at Cloudflare and send it, via Cloudflare's email service, to our company mailbox hosted by Google Workspace (Google Ireland Limited, Ireland), which acts as our processor.

Legal basis: Art. 6 (1) (b) GDPR for inquiries about a purchase, Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR for other inquiries, inquiries on behalf of a company and abuse prevention, and Art. 6 (1) (c) GDPR where we must retain data by law. Inquiries are deleted from our database automatically after three months, and from our mailbox once they have been dealt with, unless commercial or tax law requires longer retention, for example after a sale.

Name, email address and message are required to send the form. Company is optional.

Escrow

If we agree on a sale, payment and transfer run through an escrow provider. We share the details needed for the transaction with that provider.

Transfers outside the EU

Cloudflare and Google may process data in the USA. Transfers to Cloudflare, Inc. and Google LLC rely on the EU-US Data Privacy Framework adequacy decision.

Your rights

You have the right to access, rectification, erasure, restriction of processing and data portability. To exercise them, email us. You can also lodge a complaint with a data protection supervisory authority.

Right to object: You may object at any time, on grounds relating to your particular situation, to processing based on Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR. Email fabian.wesner@tecsteps.com to do so.
